First Ever Double-Amputee to Climb Everest Visits BMS
Posted on: 10/01/2024This morning we welcomed a local hero, Hari Budha Magar to BMS. British Army Veteran, Hari, is the world’s first double-amputee to climb Mount Everest.
The students were both fascinated and inspired by his exceptional bravery and determination, which has led to him achieving a multitude of accolades. Hari shared his incredibly moving life story with students, including the challenges of Everest, along with his ambitions for the future.
He delivered a clear message to the students, encouraging them to ‘climb their own mountains, whatever stands in their way’.
