Gold for BMS in the Healthy Schools Rating Scheme
Posted on: 17/03/2023Barton Manor School is delighted to have been awarded Gold on the Healthy Schools Rating Scheme through the Active Lives Children and Young People Survey.
The Healthy Schools Rating Scheme has been designed by the Department for Education to recognise and encourage schools’ contributions to supporting pupils’ health and wellbeing. It celebrates the positive actions that schools are delivering in terms of healthy eating and physical activity.
This is a fantastic achievement, and we hope to continue to build on this moving forward. We are encouraging all our students to consider one of our excellent extra-curricular activities to meet the Government guidelines that young people should get 60 minutes of daily physical activity.
