Manga Anime Design Competition at BMS

For this competition students had to design an 'OC' which is an original character in the Manga / Anime style. Students were able to submit their designs either on paper or digitally. We were extremely impressed with the standard of art work and the creativity students demonstrated in their ideas.

Julia won for Year 8 and Annabelle for Year 7, and they both received a bumper goodie bag filled with Manga Anime and art themed prizes plus a specially designed laser cut trophy created by Mr Cotter. A special mention was given to Poppy in Year 8 as we were very impressed with the way she presented her ideas.

All students who entered received a prize that included chopsticks, a laser cut Manga keyring and sweets. Entries for the competition are now up on display in the DT workroom window and there are already calls from students to hold another similar competition in the future!
